Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional in Timmins, Ontario. This full-time role offers a pay rate of $23.47 per hour with shifts spanning Mon-Sun and a preference for candidates with full availability.

Required are an Ontario security guard license, valid G Class driver’s license, valid work permit, and eligibility to work 40 hours per week. First Aid/CPR Level C is required, with advantage for advanced certifications, and CCTV/access control experience.

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional in Timmins, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Professional

Job Location: Timmins, ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $23.47 per hour

Shifts: Mondays to Sundays; (Full Availability is an asset)

Requirement:

• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Valid G Class driver's license is mandatory.
• Valid Work Permit
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C. Priority will be given to those with an advanced First Aid & CPR certificate.
• First responders first aid certification is an asset
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
