Job summary

Allied Universal in Oshawa, Ontario, is hiring a Security Guard for a Full Time - Days role. You will provide constant surveillance, deter theft, and maintain a visible security presence on site while reporting incidents and assisting customers as needed.

The role requires 1–2 years in security, a valid Ontario Security License, and the ability to work up to 40 hours per week. Strong communication and basic Microsoft Office skills are expected, with First Aid/ CPR as a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in security.
• Ontario Security License is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant surveillance and a visible security presence on site.
• Report incidents accurately and maintain logs.
• Maintain professional communication with team and stakeholders.
• Assist customers and staff with directions and safety questions.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Document and retain records for compliance.
