Allied Universal in Oakville, ON is seeking a Security Professional to deliver frontline security services with a professional demeanor. The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to operate with a dynamic team, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid work permit.
• Valid ON Security Guard License.
• Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.
• Must be able to escort contractors and guests through the facility.
• Must be comfortable walking for long periods during shifts.
• Familiar with access control, alarm monitoring, and CCTV systems.
• Experience with report writing and documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols of designated areas to monitor and ensure safety.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms and respond to incidents.
• Escort contractors and guests through the facility with assistance and directions.
• Perform security checks on doors, windows, and access points.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisors and authorities.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and security personnel for incidents.
• Maintain logs and records of patrols and observations.
• Inspect security equipment and emergency supplies for defects.
• Participate in training to enhance security procedures and response.
• Assist with risk assessments and adherence to regulations.
