Job summary

Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently seeking a Full-time Security Guard for our Halton Hills, Ontario site.

You will handle reception security, patrols, access control, and alarm response to protect people and property. This role requires a valid Ontario Security Guard License, CPR Level C, a valid driver's license with vehicle access, and the ability to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• CPR Level C certification.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and consistent vehicle access.
• Must be available for rotational shifts: mornings, afternoons, nights & weekends.

Responsibilities

• Use telecommunications (two-way radio, cell phone) and enforce post orders.
• Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
• Visitor access control and monitoring.
• Maintain order and follow radio and emergency procedures.
• Monitor security cameras and operate control room equipment.
• Patrolling and safety procedures.
• Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism and write reports.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
• Visitor Access Control.
• Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
• Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Operate security control room equipment.
• Patrolling.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
• Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, Or Certification

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• CPR Level C Certified.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and consistent access to a vehicle.
• Must be available to do rotational shift work: mornings, afternoons, nights & weekends.
