Job summary

Skanna Security in Vaughan is seeking a Security Guard (FT/PT) to protect the property and patrons at our Vaughan site. A vehicle is required to reach site locations as needed.

The role includes patrolling, incident response, and reporting, with shifts available across mornings, afternoons, and nights. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and maintain professional conduct. Valid guard license and first aid CPR required; prior security experience is an asset; training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard license and first aid card (CPR level C).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience (asset).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Above‑average communication skills (written/oral).
• Computer skills and ability to write a report.
• Sense of observation and responsibility.
• Honesty, autonomy and very good judgment.
• Ability to intervene quickly and manage stress.
• Team spirit and excellent customer service.

Skanna Security is looking for a Full‑Time/Part‑Time Security Guard to work at our Vaughan Site. Must have access to a vehicle.

Job Details

• Availability to work any shift.
• Mornings – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Afternoons – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Nights – 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Must be able to work outside and inside in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deterring and responding to incidents on the property.
• Responding to various types of emergencies (fire alarms, elevator entrapment, intrusion alarms) and communicating regularly with patrons/clients.
