Job summary

Skanna Security & Investigations Inc. is seeking a Security Guard to protect client properties in a warehouse/distribution setting in Mississauga.

The role covers full-time and part-time shifts, including afternoons and nights, with emphasis on deterring incidents and responding to alarms. You will need a valid Security Guard license and CPR level C, at least 6 months in security, strong communication, report writing skills, and a reliable vehicle license.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard license and first aid card (CPR level C).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience minimum 6 months.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Excellent communication skills (written/oral).
• Excellent comprehension.
• Ability to retain process and procedures and accurately respond to emergencies.
• Computer skills and ability to write a report.
• Sense of observation and responsibility.
• Honesty, autonomy, and very good judgment.
• Ability to intervene quickly and manage stress.
• Team spirit and excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Deterring and responding to incidents on the property.
• Responding to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapment/intrusion alarms). Regularly communicating with patrons/clients.
• Completing reports and memo book entries regularly.
