Job summary

Guardteck & Kandor Management is seeking a Security Guard to maintain a safe environment through patrols, rule enforcement, and prompt incident response. You will provide professional customer service while monitoring premises and reporting findings with clear documentation.

The role requires the Alberta Security Licence, First Aid/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of security experience, with the ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Security Licence.

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for 8–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service using tact and diplomacy.
• Collaborate with emergency services and support daily operations as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Security Licence
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of security experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods (8–12 hours)
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-traffic environments (indoors and outdoors)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail security or loss prevention
