Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking dedicated Security Guards to protect a corporate site in Downtown Toronto, ON. This part-time role requires a professional demeanor, customer service focus, and the ability to work Friday and Saturday night shifts (2300–1100).

Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring CCTV, access control, incident reporting, and collaboration with building management to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of security experience, preferably in a commercial, corporate, or retail environment.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write detailed and accurate incident reports.
• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and security management systems.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to work rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to tenants, residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and site-specific procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required.
• Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and unusual occurrences.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and security vulnerabilities.
• Support emergency response procedures and coordinate with emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and electronic documentation in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with property management and other stakeholders to maintain a safe and professional environment.

Pay Rate: $20.40 per hour

Shifts: Friday and Saturday, 2300-1100
