Candidates should have 1-2 years of relevant security experience, a valid Ontario Security License, and strong communication and computer skills to complete incident reports and everyday monitoring tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience working in Manufacturing, Warehouse, Distribution center.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills, including incident reporting & daily activity report.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience issuing and managing access control badges.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Access Control: Greet and screen visitors, ensuring they follow the proper procedures for signing in and out.
• Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
• Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact in case of emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or other safety-related matters.
• Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security across all operations.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour

Shifts: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00PM to 7:00AM

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Professional - Manufacturing Site to join our team in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the facility, staff, and visitors. This position requires an individual with excellent administrative, computer, communication, and customer service skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1-2 years of experience working in Manufacturing, Warehouse, Distribution center.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must demonstarate a good computer skills, including incident reporting & daily activity report
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience issuing and managing access control badges
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• First Aid and CPR
