Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a professional Security Guard for a high-profile complex in Downtown Toronto, Ontario. The role centers on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, residents, visitors, and staff.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years of security experience, a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, and First Aid/CPR certification. The position offers full-time hours with continental rotation and a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of security experience in commercial/residential/mixed-use environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and calls for service.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to tenants, residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and site-specific procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required.
• Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and unusual occurrences.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and security vulnerabilities.
• Support emergency response procedures and coordinate with emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and electronic documentation in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with property management and other stakeholders to maintain a safe and professional environment.
