Allied Universal is hiring Security Professionals in London, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role emphasizes customer service, a professional demeanor, and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident reporting, and maintaining safety procedures. Candidates should have an Ontario security guard license, be 18+, and able to work 40 hours per week; shifts are afternoons/evenings.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm systems.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Drivers license is considered an asset.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.

• Patrol interior and exterior of facility, looking for signs of illegal activity, vagrancy, theft, or property damage.
• Conduct regular communication checks with City of London Security dispatch.
• Access control for the facility/area.
• Document shift activities in Daily Activity Report; complete incident reports with AUS mobile team.
• Perform duties as requested by site staff and AUS management.
• Complete OJT, and ongoing site training as required by Client and AUS.
• Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to de-escalate.

Job Title: Security Professional - Community Centre

Job Location: London, ON

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Rate: $ 20.62 per hour

Shifts : Mondays - Fridays; (Afternoons/evenings. Shifts vary depending on client need, between 1500-2230)

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Patrol interior and exterior of facility, looking for signs of illegal / criminal activity, vagrancy, theft, property damage.
• Conduct regular communication checks with City of London Security dispatch.
• Access control for the facility/area
• Document shift activities in Daily Activity Report; complete incident reports with AUS mobile team.
• Perform duties as requested by site staff and AUS management.

• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as perthe post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols,manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
