Paladin Security in Abbotsford, BC is hiring a full-time Security Guard to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will patrol indoor and outdoor areas, assist customers, and coordinate with emergency services as needed.

Ideal candidates have security and customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to resolve incidents independently. Must hold a BC Security Worker License and be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Formación

• Previous security and customer service experience.
• Experience managing conflict or handling incidents independently.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Physical ability to patrol on foot indoors and outdoors.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Responsabilidades

Site Overview

Located in Abbotsford, this retail shopping centre is a active community hub for shopping, dining, and services. As part of the site security team, you will help foster a safe, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere for all tenants, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Security Guard, you will be the main point of contact for safety and customer support on site. Your daily duties will include:

• Conducting regular foot patrols across both indoor and outdoor areas of the property.
• Providing polite, helpful customer service to shoppers, property tenants, and visitors.
• Communicating clearly with clients, tenants, members of the public, and emergency services.
• De‑escalating tense situations and managing trespass or eviction procedures when required.
• Enforcing property rules and bylaws consistently and professionally.
• Completing thorough, accurate incident reports during your shift.

Must Haves

• A valid BC Security Worker License.
• Previous experience in security and customer service roles.
• Experience managing conflict or handling incidents independently.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Physical ability to patrol on foot indoors and outdoors for most of your shift.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

• Advanced Security Training (AST) certification.
