Job summary

Diligent Security Services Inc. is seeking a Retail Store Guard to protect assets in retail and financial environments across the GTA. You will greet customers, perform foot patrols, monitor CCTV, and enforce store policies while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.

The role requires a valid Ontario Security Guard License, First Aid & CPR Level C, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. We offer a supportive team, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• First Aid & CPR Level C.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Previous experience in the security industry, Retail Environment would be an asset.
• Sound knowledge of computer technology.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and rotating shifts.
• Must meet physical requirements of standing for the entirety of the shift.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Must be prepared to work on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Making sure property is secure and safe all times
• Apply Trespassing code of conduct
• Following store rule and regulations
• Foot patrol inside and outside of the property as needed
• Access control and monitor CCTV if required
• Greet all customers in a friendly manner
• Remain posted at entrance of the store or where ever directed
• Assist customers requiring assistance for directions and employees with access request or any other questions

Currently, we are expanding our team and looking for security professionals specifically for retail stores and financial institutions.

What we’re looking for:
