Morguard is seeking a Security, Concierge professional for a high-rise property in Edmonton. You will safeguard tenants, visitors, and assets while monitoring access, CCTV, and building systems to ensure a safe environment.
Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, security experience, and familiarity with CCTV, alarm, and access control technologies. Opportunities exist within a robust, North American real estate portfolio and a supportive team.

The Security, Concierge is accountable to the Supervisor Operations for safety and security of all tenants, third parties and general public as well as protection and safeguarding of company’s tangible assets and organizational reputation.
Maintains safe and secure environment for customers, tenants and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Monitor and operate CCTV camera system, Operate Otis elevator system, Metasys Building Automation Program, Notifier Fire Alarm System responding accordingly to the Fire Safety and Disaster Response Plan.
Maintain and update Pegasys card/Intrusion control system for tower tenants/employees.
Maintain accurate log entries for the following log books: Patrol and Shift lead logs, Key Sign out/Sign in log book, Hot work permits and After Hours Suburban Properties Call‑out Maintenance log book. Patrol common, perimeter and towers per standing orders utilizing a Bar Code Scanner System.
Maintain thorough knowledge of security posted orders and policies in place and prepared to address any arising security concerns at all times.
Supervise and instruct contract patrol officers in regards to policies and procedures of the complex. Also ensure patrol duties are fulfilled by officers and entries are accurately logged in book.
Any other job related duties and/or projects that may be assigned.
