Job summary
iBwave is seeking a Security & Compliance Lead to own the security and compliance program, driving SOC2 and GDPR readiness while leading security tooling, cloud security, monitoring, and automation initiatives. You will work with IT, Engineering, DevOps, and Legal to build scalable, secure solutions across Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and our SaaS ecosystem.
Location: Remote within Canada. English proficiency required, collaboration across global teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent).
- 5+ years in security/compliance roles.
- Hands-on cloud security experience (Azure and/or AWS).
- Experience configuring and operating security tools (Defender, Entra ID, Defender for Cloud).
- Experience with SOC2 and/or GDPR programs.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the security and compliance program (SOC2, GDPR).
- Design and implement cloud security controls across Azure and AWS.
- Develop automation to improve security operations and evidence collection.
- Configure and maintain SIEM, identity protection, and cloud security platforms.
- Lead vendor security due diligence and third-party risk assessments.
- Support customer security questionnaires and trust initiatives.
