Job summary

Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. is seeking an Assurance Solution Architect to expand the Security Assurance practice and educate customers on product-led, people-powered services for secure cloud operations.

You will translate regulatory needs into scalable cloud controls and work with multiple lines of business across AWS. You will partner with customers and Amazonians to design security architectures, conduct risk assessments, and demonstrate how compliance objectives can be achieved in the

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Knowledge of AWS services.
• 4+ years advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.

• Expertise – Delivers in teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs
• Solutions – Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to customers that help move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster
• Delivery – Resolve security assurance questions and manage risk to achieve compliance while operating in the AWS Cloud
• Insights – Convey feedback to AWS technology roadmaps with engineering and support teams
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
