About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Analyst II to join our Data Protection group, focusing on analyzing the impact of quantum computing on cryptographic systems and developing strategies for a secure transition to post-quantum cryptography.

What You'll Do Here

• Conduct research on quantum algorithms and their potential to compromise cryptographic methods.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities of current cryptographic protocols against emerging quantum capabilities.
• Apply knowledge of cryptography to develop post-quantum cryptographic solutions.
• Identify and assess post-quantum cryptography algorithms and standards.
• Develop strategies for migrating to and implementing PQC algorithms.
• Collaborate with advisors and developers to integrate PQC solutions.
• Monitor advancements in quantum computing hardware and software.
• Contribute to cryptography standards and best practices.
• Analyze performance and security of PQC implementations.
• Stay updated on research in quantum computing and cryptography.
• Communicate technical findings effectively to diverse audiences.

What You Bring To The Table

• Solid understanding of classical cryptography and cryptographic protocols.
• Knowledge of quantum mechanics, information theory, and quantum computing principles.
• Experience with quantum algorithms like Shor's and Grover's.
• 3-6 years of experience in cryptographic analysis and security proofs.
• Programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
• Familiarity with cryptographic libraries and security frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science or related field, with emphasis on cryptography or quantum information science.
• Experience with post-quantum cryptography algorithms and standards.
• Knowledge of quantum computing platforms (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).
