Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a section manager to oversee a portion of sales and operations activities, shaping the unit's service offer and business plan. You will employ quality decisions and optimize work processes to drive results and develop talent.

Reporting to the immediate supervisor, you will organize work, develop and track the unit's action plan, implement change management practices, support performance, and promote the cooperative values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to duties with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the immediate supervisor with work organization and planning for the unit.
• Develop, implement and track the unit’s action plan aligned with strategic orientations and other administrative units, in a performance management context.
• Establish management and communication practices that support change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement, and diversity in keeping with Desjardins values.
• Define and ensure the implementation of activities related to the unit’s services to maximize targeted business results and ensure member and client satisfaction.
• Support the administrative unit’s action plan by successfully managing individual and team performance.
• Promote Desjardins Group’s cooperative values.
• Continuously improve the management of processes under your responsibility.
