Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops is seeking an experienced Banquet Bartender to join the Banquets team. You will set up banquet bars, prepare and serve cocktails and beverages, and deliver attentive service at weddings, meetings, and events.

This role requires knowledge of cocktails and beverage service, as well as compliance with liquor laws. You will collaborate with the Banquets and F&B teams, handle payments, and contribute to a memorable guest experience in a fast-paced event environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or Food & Beverage service experience.
• Serving It Right certification is required.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, maintain, and break down banquet bars.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to event guests.
• Follow event requirements, service standards, and opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain compliance with BC liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Process payments and accurately record beverage sales and consumption.
