Job summary

Fountain Tire Didsbury is seeking a Seasonal Automotive Tire Technician to join our team in Didsbury, Alberta. The role involves installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires, including TPMS work, in a clean, safe shop environment.

Seasonal position with an anticipated end date of December 11, 2026. We offer competitive wages ($20–$22/hour) based on experience, training opportunities, and potential for advancement within Fountain Tire locations.

Qualifications

• Willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires is an asset.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels on passenger and light trucks.
• Reset TPMS and service tire equipment regularly.
• Assist in inventory management and participate in annual counts.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, etc.) as needed.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.

Overview

Fountain Tire Didsbury, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Seasonal Automotive Tire Technician!

Please note: This is a seasonal position with an expected end date of December 11, 2026.

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
