Fountain Tire MacLeod Trail in Calgary is seeking a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Seasonal Automotive Tire Technician. You’ll install, balance, rotate, and repair tires on passenger and light-truck wheels, with opportunities to learn and grow in a friendly, safety‑driven shop.

Qualifications

• Willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires and wheels is an asset.
• Customer-service focus with ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members and customers.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Completing specialty tire work such as studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and annual inventory counts.
• Ensure safety of yourself and coworkers.

Overview

Conveniently located a few blocks from the Chinook LRT Station, Fountain Tire MacLeod Trail, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Seasonal Automotive Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
