Job summary

Marquis Snow and Ice Ltd. is seeking Property Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Operations Team for snow and ice removal. You will perform a multitude of tasks across all service areas of snow and ice removal.

The snow and ice removal season runs from November through April, depending on the weather conditions. Responsibilities include clearing parking lots, planning routes, ensuring safety, maintaining equipment, keeping accurate records, and delivering professional client service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Availability November through April for standby and on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Property maintenance: clear and maintain parking lots, sidewalks and yard areas at commercial and municipal properties.
• Route planning: follow routes and schedules to ensure timely snow removal and coordinate with supervisors.
• Safety compliance: adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents during snow operations.
• Equipment maintenance: perform pre- and post-operation checks on snow plows and equipment.
• Recordkeeping: log hours, routes, materials used and incidents; submit daily reports.
• Customer service: interact professionally with clients and property managers.
• Adaptability: work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during snow events.
• Teamwork: collaborate with crew members across property maintenance activities during non-snow seasons.
