Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Charlottetown, PEI, Canada, is seeking a Store Associate to deliver fast, friendly service, help customers shop, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram compliance, while supporting omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store to keep shelves stocked and attractive.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery to stay well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Conduct Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD sets as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and comply with SOPs and company policies.
