Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking seasonal Sales Associates in Toronto to help customers find the perfect gift or home item. You'll engage with shoppers, share product knowledge, and support store leaders to deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

This part-time, holiday-focused role offers flexible weekend availability and an associate discount, with training and teamwork from Store Leaders and Department Heads to keep the atmosphere lively and the sales flowing.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and the days surrounding Christmas.
• Part-Time roles require availability to work two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night.

A day in the life as a Sales Associate...

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise.
• Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner, respond to customer questions, process payments, and involve leadership as appropriate.
• Communicate and have awareness of applicable promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives to customers.
• Possess and demonstrate excellent service and company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Assist with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
• Engage in, maintain and support store safety standards and training.
• Responsible for meeting sales goals as assigned by leaders.
• Execute and maintain the visual merchandising standards of the sales floor to engage customers and associates with the product, as needed.
• Responsible for meeting CBH Credit Card (CBHCC) and email capture metrics as assigned by leaders.

What you'll bring to the table...
