Job summary

Crate & Barrel is hiring Seasonal Stock Associates to be the heartbeat of our store operations. You'll keep shelves stocked, assist with displays, and prep the stock room to fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately.

You'll engage customers, share product knowledge, support promotions, and work with the team to maintain loss prevention and safe, efficient service. Weekend and holiday availability is a must.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
• Available to work weekends after Thanksgiving and surrounding Christmas.
• Part-time availability: two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night.

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks and maintain an organized stockroom.
• Assist displays on the sales floor and ensure products are stocked for customers.
• Process incoming/outgoing packages and curbside orders.
• Support sales and service goals and standards as directed by leadership.
• Engage customers with knowledge to drive sales and promote promotions.
• Lead by example and support store leadership on profitability and operations.
• Promote promotions, brand initiatives, and store services to customers.
• Maintain awareness of loss prevention and safety guidelines.
• Foster strong teamwork and safe, efficient collaboration among associates.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Stock Associate...

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.
• Assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, in a timely manner.
• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by the leadership team.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.
• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.

What You'll Bring To The Table...

• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving AND the days surrounding Christmas
