Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Retail E-Commerce Associate in Edmonton to collect online orders, prepare them for pickup and shipment, and ensure accuracy throughout the process.

You will print and fulfill orders, ship via ShipStation, update Shopify inventories, and coordinate with the E-Commerce team to resolve issues, while maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; willing to learn business applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Print and fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ship orders using online applications (ShipStation).
• Connect with customers regarding updates on their order and inquiries.
• Organize orders for Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) for quick service.
• Update product listings with inventory corrections (Shopify).
• Communicate with E-Commerce Supervisor/Manager regarding issues with orders or product selection.
• Other duties as assigned by E-Commerce Manager/Supervisor.

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for collecting online orders and getting them ready for pick up and shipment.

As a Retail E-Commerce Associate, you will:

• Print and fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
• Ship orders using online applications (ShipStation)

• Connect with customers regarding updates on their order and other inquiries

• Organize orders for BOPIS (Buy Online Pickup in Store) so that customers can be served quickly and with ease
• Update product listings with inventory corrections as necessary (Shopify)
• Communicate with E-Commerce Supervisor/E-Commerce Manager regarding any issues with orders, product selection, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by E-Commerce Manager/ E-Commerce Supervisor

• Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently to complete work assignments, as well as within a team when necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ability, and willingness to learn required business applications and systems
