Job summary

Eataly Sherway Gardens is seeking a seasonal part-time bartender to craft and serve beverages for guests at the bar and restaurant. You will provide friendly, timely service and support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations.

The role requires knowledge of beer and wine, cash handling, and a Smart Serve certification, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Compensation includes hourly pay plus tips.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Smart Serve certification.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule often including nights and weekends.
• Ability to stay stationary for periods up to 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and move with pace.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle draughts, wine keys, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares drinks, serves wine and bottled beers, and draws draught beer from kegs.
• Interacts with guests, takes orders and serves snacks and drinks.
• Maintains an attractive display of beverages and merchandises drinks.
• Keeps bar area clean and sanitary to health standards.
• Complies with all food and beverage regulations.
• Performs other duties as required.

Seasonal Bartender (Part-Time) - Eataly Sherway Gardens

This is a seasonal position with an expected end date of 1/03/2027.

A Bartender is responsible for making, mixing and pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests at the bar and restaurant. A Bartender provides friendly, cheerful, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests. Functionally reports to the Restaurant Manager.

• Prepares drinks, serves wine and bottled beers, and draws draught beer from kegs
• Interacts with guests, takes orders and serves snacks and drinks
• Arranges bottles and glasses to make an attractive display and merchandise drinks
• Maintains a clean and sanitary bar that meets Department of Health standards
• Complies with all food and beverage regulations
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is CAD $17.95 hourly, plus tips
