Job summary

Pursuit in Canada is seeking a prep cook for a seasonal, full-time role. You will prepare and cook a range of dishes, maintain clean kitchen spaces, and assist with buffets and plating while following health codes. You’ll work with a friendly team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires prior cooking experience, a culinary certificate (asset), and Food Safe certification. Commitment to grooming standards and the ability to pass a background check are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Completion of a culinary certificate or equivalent in work experience is an asset.
• Food Safe required.
• Maintain grooming and appearance standards.
• Consent to a criminal record check is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes per recipes and health codes.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Stock and maintain product levels as directed by the sous/ head chef.
• Assist with buffets, carving meats and garnish on servings.
• Communicate with co-workers and management in a timely manner.
