Job summary

Marmot Basin seeks a Maintenance Laborer to assist with keeping lifts, snowmaking systems, buildings and water treatment assets in good repair. You will support Mechanics, Electricians and Carpenters as part of a small crew at Marmot Basin.

This full-time seasonal role runs 4 days per week, 10 hours per day from May through October, with possible variance at season start/end. Outdoor work in all weather is expected; probation per Alberta standards applies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and at times repetitively.
• Must enjoy working outdoors with a team and by themselves.
• Ability to operate ATV’s and Side by Sides.
• Physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Operate aerial and surface lifts.
• Assist mechanics, electricians, carpenters with daily duties.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Adherence to Marmot Basin’s practices and procedures.
• All Marmot Basin employees will conduct themselves in compliance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety legislation as it relates to their job.
