Job summary

Explore Edmonton Corporation's Edmonton EXPO Centre is seeking Kitchen Stewards to join our Stewarding team for a temporary role from October to December 23, 2026. You will help keep back-of-house areas clean, safe, and organized, supporting a range of events hosted at the EXPO Centre.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel or convention kitchen.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine cleaning of food preparation areas, pastries, hot kitchen areas, equipment, floors, walls, ceilings, and hoods.
• Manage waste by sorting compost, garbage, used oil, recycling, and cardboard.
• Maintain cleanliness of the ware washing room.
• Support sustainability by adhering to waste sorting guidelines.
