Job summary

The Salvation Army Winnipeg is seeking a Kettle Coordinator II to oversee multiple Christmas Kettle locations in designated zones. You will supervise staff and volunteers, coordinate schedules, and ensure secure handling of donations during the campaign.

This temporary role requires strong customer service, budgeting, and reporting skills, with the ability to adapt to varying shifts and mall environments. Training and safety compliance are emphasized throughout the campaign.

Qualifications

• Some high school coursework; completion of high school is an asset.
• A minimum of one year of related experience or working in customer service.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Experience in office administration and with general office equipment (WORD, EXCEL).
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle; insurance; clean driver’s abstract required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the Christmas Kettle campaign including scheduling of staff and/or volunteers.
• Recruit kettle workers and/or volunteers; provide orientation and performance management.
• Coordinate schedule for kettle staff/volunteers and manage attendance.
• Ensure security of donations and timely delivery to secure locations.
• Record statistics and prepare weekly time sheets and reports.
• Engage with kettle sites to maintain positive working relationships.
