Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Christmas Kettle Campaign Coordinator for a 35-hour-per-week temporary full-time role. You will oversee multiple kettle locations within a geographic zone, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure secure handling of donations and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, scheduling, and recruitment support, with local travel and mall/store environments typical of the role.

Qualifications

• Some high school coursework; completion is an asset.
• A minimum of one year of related experience or customer service.
• Experience with Word and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend training and orientation for The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle Campaign.
• Coordinate kettle placements and staffing across zone locations.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; ensure proper schedule coverage.
• Maintain timesheets, mileage reports and donation security.
• Engage with donors and promote SA ministries and programs.
• Post-campaign duties including retrieval of equipment and supplies.
