Job summary

The Drake Devonshire Inn in Wellington, Ontario is seeking Seasonal Hosts to join our Drake Devonshire team. This role focuses on guest welcome, reservations and friendly service in a high-volume environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1+ year HOST experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and flexible weekend availability. OpenTable knowledge is preferred to coordinate check-ins and guest orders smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1+ years HOST experience in a similar, fast paced environment.
• Professional, outgoing + positive attitude - Well-spoken and excellent communication skills.
• Experience Using Reservation Systems, OpenTable Preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to multitask + time manage.
• Must have availability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and checking them in through OpenTable reservation system
• Accommodate guests, reservations + walk-ins in a strategic manner
• Check in with guests and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
• Perform additional side work, as assigned
