Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a Seasonal Courier for a 3-month term to provide courteous, efficient pick-up and delivery on an assigned route. You will ensure proper labeling, paperwork, and secure handling of packages while representing FedEx in a professional manner.

Position requires no experience, with high school diploma or GED and a willingness to work weekends; a G class driver's license is required. Seasonal work includes varied shifts and potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Customer Service – 1 year (preferred).
• Willing to work weekends and different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages on an assigned route; to check all shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service.
• Represents the company in a professional manner and maintains a neat appearance consistent with the company's public image.
• Performs accurate pickup and delivery, reports stop counts and any mis-sorts, and adheres to procedures for security and paperwork.
• Operates computerized tracking systems and answers customer questions about services, including Canada, US, and International requirements.
• May perform loading/unloading and sorting of packages based on location and workload.
