Job summary

You will follow FedEx procedures, use tracking systems, and assist with loading/unloading as needed. Ideal candidates may have a year of customer service experience and strong orientation toward service quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check all shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service features.
• Report stop counts and missorts accurately and on time.
• Adhere to courier best practices, procedures, and route plans for efficient delivery and pickup.
• Ensure proper labeling and neat, accurate paperwork; maintain supply of shipping materials.
• Operate computerized tracking and dispatch systems with correct information.
• Answer customers' questions about FedEx Canada service features and requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in service features and equipment.
• Operate vehicle safely, comply with government regulations and company procedures.
• May assist with loading/unloading aircraft or containers as workload dictates.
