Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Edmonton is seeking a Retail Outfitter to join a team focused on delivering legendary customer service and expert product knowledge to every guest.

You will assist customers with buying decisions, maintain store presentation, promote programs, and contribute to an engaging outdoor lifestyle shopping experience. Prior sales or service experience is preferred, and knowledge of outdoor products is a plus.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an asset.

• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle
