Job summary

YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, is seeking two Facilities Staff for the summer season. The role involves maintaining camp buildings and sites, cleaning, landscaping, minor repairs, and supporting safety practices. Must be 17+ by end of 2027 and able to work six days per week.

Qualifications

• Must have First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Must be 17 years old by December 31, 2027.
• Ability to work 6 days a week and adapt to a camp setting.

Responsibilities

• Restock, clean, and sanitize bathrooms and showers daily.
• Perform landscaping duties, including grass cutting, weeding, and trail maintenance.
• Complete light construction and maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent facility issues.
• Support inventory management for cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Follow health and safety practices and participate in safety committees.
• Mentor and support campers and staff within the facilities team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
