Responsibilities

• Assist guests with all steps of their shopping experience, guiding them to products and making recommendations.
• Educate guests about Italian wines and beverages sold at Eataly.
• Receive and stock wine and store merchandise; review invoices as needed.
• Assist with class setup and execution for La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes.
• Check in guests and describe flavor profiles, pairings, and winery information.

Job Description

This is a seasonal position with an expected end date of 01/02/2027
The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and makingsuggestions. Reports to the Area Beverage Operations Manager.

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guestservice
• Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly
• Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices
• Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise
• Executes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage Director
• Sets up for each class including rolling silverware, setting places andgathering materials
• Checks in guests and introduces classes
• Openswineandpoursfor guests
• Describesflavor profile, pairing detail and winery information
• Breaks down after each class
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Wine sale experience
• Italian wine knowledgepreferred
• Strong customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing role

Job Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours
• Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is $20.00 hourly
