Carter's Inc. Canada, a growing national retailer of children’s apparel, seeks Seasonal, Full-Time Associates for the Cambridge, Ontario distribution center. Afternoon shift 3:15 pm–11:45 pm, CAD 19.50 hourly with a CAD 1 shift differential, contract Nov to Jan 2027.

On-site role focusing on warehouse operations, inventory, and safety compliance. Responsibilities include picking, packing, labeling, and using RF scanners, plus adherence to SOPs and teamwork to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Must have: trained in powered materials handling equipment and follow safe practices.
• Able to operate RF scanners and WMOS.
• Detail oriented with the ability to focus in a high activity processing setting.
• Teamwork and collaboration with others to meet targets.

Responsabilités

• 60%: DC operations and execution including housekeeping, safety, and compliance.
• Accurate order picking, packing, labeling, and outbound carton preparation.
• Inventory management, cleanup and replenishment responsibilities.
• Utilize RF scanners; ensure adherence to SOPs and safety rules.

PM Shift: Monday - Friday 3:15p - 11:45p ($19.50 per hour + $1 shift differential)

Carter's inc. Canada, a growing national retailer of children's apparel, requires Seasonal, Full-Time Associates,Afternoon Shift, for our Distribution Center located in Cambridge, Ontario. Contract term: Nov to Jan 2027.

This role typically reports into the Afternoon Supervisor and is based in our Canada DC in our on-site work environment.

60%: DC Operation and Execution

• Housekeeping,safetyand warehouse compliance

• Accurate and efficient order picking and packing, labeling cartons with the correct shipping and content labels

• Responsible for inventory management including clean up andreplenishment

• Responsible for quantity and quality picked into any outboundcartons

• Using Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners

• Maintaining minimum performance standards while performing required job functions

• Knowing,understandingand following all Standard Operating Procedures

• Working safely and abiding by all of Carter’s safety rules and procedures

• Actively support Carters culture and values with other Associates

• Other tasks asassigned

40 %: Essential job functions

• Responsible for housekeeping, Health & Safety of the department.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Must Have:

• Successfully complete powered materials handling equipment training anddemonstratesafe practices andproficiency

• Use mechanized equipment as needed

• Detail oriented and the ability tomaintainfocus in a high activity processing setting

• Able to work closely with others (teamwork)

Preferred skills and experience:

• At least one year work experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment

• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of hand (RF) scanners and experience using WMOS

• Skilled at multi-tasking and able to react quickly to frequent priorityshif

PHYSICAL AND WORK DEMANDS:

• Repetitively lift cases weighing up to 50lbs

• Work in a multi-channel, multi-shift distribution environment, flexible to work different shifts and extended hours based upon business needs

• Stand and work forlong periodsincluding daily overtime, holidays and overtime asrequired

• Intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion isrequired, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward

• Work in varying temperatures
