Job summary

Carter’s Inc. Canada is seeking Seasonal, Full-Time Associates for our Distribution Centre in Cambridge, Ontario. The role reports to the Ecomm Supervisor and operates in an on-site work environment from November to January 2027.

Responsibilities include DC operations, order picking, packing, inventory management, RF scanner use, and ensuring safety and SOP adherence. Ideal candidates have at least one year in distribution/manufacturing and proficiency with WMOS/ RF tech.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of hand (RF) scanners and experience using WMOS.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping, safety and warehouse compliance in area of processing.
• Accurate order picking and packing.
• Inventory management including clean up and replenishment.
• Labeling cartons with the correct shipping and content labels.
• Responsible for quantity and quality picked into any outbound cartons.
• Sorting shipping/content labels and matching to the correct outbound carton.
• Maintaining effective and quality picking activity.
• Managing packing exceptions including shortages.
• Shipping customer orders within defined SLA.
• Using Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners.
• Meeting employee productivity and inventory accuracy targets.
• Maintaining minimum performance standards while performing required job functions.
• Knowing, understanding and following all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Working safely and abiding by all of Carter’s safety rules and procedures.

Shift Schedule (Shift availability varies based upon current business need) AM Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p ($19.50 per hour)

Carter's inc. Canada, a growing national retailer of children's apparel, requires Seasonal, Full-Time Associates, eComm, for our Distribution Centre located in Cambridge, Ontario. Contract Term: Nov to Jan 2027. This role typically reports into the Ecomm Supervisor and is based in our Canada DC in our on‑site work environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• 40 %: Essential job functions
• Responsible for housekeeping, Health & Safety of the department.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Must Have

• Use mechanized equipment as needed
• Skilled at multi‑tasking and able to react quickly to frequent priority shifts
• Detail oriented and the ability to maintain focus in a high activity processing setting
• Able to work closely with others (teamwork)

Preferred skills and experience

• At least one year experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of hand (RF) scanners and experience using WMOS

Physical and Work Demands

• Repetitively lift cases weighing up to 50lbs
• Work in a multi‑channel, multi‑shift distribution environment, flexible to work different shifts and extended hours based upon business needs
• Stand and work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as required
• Intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
• Work in varying temperatures
