Join to apply for the Search Engine Optimization Specialist role at resulta

Part of a global affiliate marketing team, our mission is to drive traffic and generate leads for our clients. We’ve built a team of talented marketing and technology experts who thrive in our evolving industry and are driven to be the best in the market.

Your Impact

Some projects come along once in a lifetime, and this is one of them. Built on over 20 years of history, this media site is entering a new era — and we’re looking for the key people who will make it an unforgettable success. Legacy will meet innovation. Tradition will elevate with bold ideas, fresh creativity, and what’s most important to us: an unstoppable ambition.

Your new role

We are seeking a sharp and collaborative SEO Specialist to help drive the organic search success of a large-scale affiliate media site. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, this role will focus on keyword research, SEO optimization of existing content, and supporting a major site migration and rebranding initiative. The SEO Specialist will be instrumental in ensuring the site is strategically positioned to capture and grow search traffic, especially around high‑intent commercial queries. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and on‑page SEO skills, a data‑informed mindset, and a collaborative spirit that supports content, commercial, and performance teams alike.

What you’ll be working on
  • Keyword Research & Mapping: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify new opportunities, inform content planning, and support ongoing optimization. Lead keyword mapping efforts in preparation for a full site relaunch.
  • SEO Optimization: Provide page‑level SEO recommendations to improve the performance of evergreen and commercial content, working closely with the editorial and content operations teams.
  • Technical SEO: Perform site health checks and identify ongoing action items to improve core keyword ranking over time.
  • Optimize on‑page SEO for website metadata, schema, topical optimization, content length, page speed, etc.
  • Identify areas for on‑site improvements in site structure, internal linking, and content.
  • Lead comprehensive site audits to identify technical SEO opportunities and implement fixes.
  • Analyze and resolve indexing issues in Google Search Console, addressing crawl errors, sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonicalization.
  • Ensure Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile‑friendliness align with search engine best practices.
  • Lead and manage website migrations, including creating and executing redirect maps and validating post‑launch performance.
  • Apply a strong understanding of HTTP status codes (2xx, 3xx, 4xx, 5xx) to implement correct responses, redirects, and remediation steps that protect SEO equity.
  • Site Migration Support: Play a central role in the planning and execution of the site migration, ensuring SEO best practices are followed to minimize risk and protect rankings.
  • Content Collaboration: Partner with editors, writers, and content managers to ensure keyword targeting, metadata, linking strategies, and page structures are optimized for organic success.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track performance of key pages and keywords using tools like Google Search Console and Ahrefs. Report on ranking shifts, visibility gaps, and optimization wins.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on search engine updates, SERP trends, and competitor strategies to proactively adapt and inform growth initiatives.
A little bit about you and your qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, ideally in content‑heavy or affiliate environments.
  • Strong expertise in keyword research, on‑page optimization, and keyword clustering.
  • Experience supporting or leading SEO efforts during site migrations or domain changes.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and GA4.
  • Ability to translate SEO data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross‑functionally with editorial, tech, and performance teams.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying growth opportunities.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in competitive industries.
  • Familiarity with content mapping frameworks and scalable SEO documentation processes.
  • Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals (e.g., redirects, canonical tags, crawl budget, indexation).
  • Comfort participating in planning sessions and contributing to content prioritization.
  • Understanding of how SEO integrates with broader performance and affiliate strategies.
