Job summary

ISG Search Inc is seeking a proactive Search Advisor in Engineering in Toronto. You will own the end-to-end recruitment journey, sourcing and engaging top engineering talent for leadership and specialist roles, while building strong client relationships to drive ongoing business.

Hybrid work is available for Toronto candidates and remote options exist for others in the GTA. You are driven by commissions and performance, with a proven ability to connect with passive candidates and deliver

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally for Engineering roles in an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of in-demand Engineering skillsets (Mechanical, Electrical & Hardware, Technical PM, Process Designers).
• Willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent, human communication skills.
• Hybrid schedule possible for Toronto; remote for candidates outside the GTA.

• Manage the full recruitment journey from start to finish.
• Source and engage engineering candidates, including passive talent.
• Build long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates to drive repeat business.

• Leverage opportunities to help cutting-edge companies build star teams.
• Work as part of a supportive team of Search Advisors and Sales Executives who specialize in promoting top-tier Engineering professionals, both in leadership and specialist roles.
• Help build a growing vertical from the ground up, partnering with our Engineering sales team to deliver exceptional talent to new and existing clients.
• Source and form your own long-lasting relationships with diverse, highly technically-skilled candidates who are on the hunt for their next great role.
• Your ability to create meaningful bonds with candidates will ensure a top-notch people experience, guiding them through the process with expertise and care.
• You’ll bring valuable market intelligence and insights to the table, advising and influencing internal partners and clients on the right candidate experiences for them.
• Deliver on critical Engineering projects and high-stakes leadership hires.

Must-haves

• 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally recruiting for Engineering roles within an agency environment.
• A strong understanding of in-demand Engineering skillsets, including but not limited to Mechanical, Electrical & Hardware Engineers, Technical PM’s, Process Designers and more.
• Willingness to learn and succeed in a fun, supportive, fast-moving environment.
• Excellent, easy, human communication skills.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule if located in Toronto, fully remote for candidates outside of the GTA.
