Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is seeking a Sealer/Prepper to prepare equipment for painting, sealing, masking, sanding, and related prep work at our Edmonton area facilities. Responsibilities include sealing, filling, masking, painting prep, and material safeguarding while following safety programs.
The role requires the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, read blueprints, and lift 25+ lbs.

This role may be based at our facilities in Nisku, Sherwood Park, or Edmonton. Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the work location.
The primary role of the Sealer/Prepper is to prepare equipment for painting through sealing, masking,sandingand other applications.
Operate sealing equipment or use filler to fill holes, dents,and seams.
File, grind,and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools.
Mask and tape surfaces in preparation for painting.
Mix, blend,and matchpaintcolors.
Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns.
Monitorpartsusage and report on any materials issues.
Assistin ordering replacement equipment,partsand supplies.
Perform in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Performs all dutiesin accordance withSilent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
Other duties asassigned.
Completion of college/vocational or technical training in a related field is an asset.
Previousexperience working with sheet metal is an asset.
Previousautobody prep experience is an asset.
Ability to work independently.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
The ability to read and interpret blueprints is an asset.
Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 25 pounds.
Mustbe able to distinguishcolours.
Commercial/Industrial environment.
Manual dexterityrequiredto use necessary tools.
Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.
Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment).
Long periodsof standing.
Overtime asrequired.
