Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a warehouse associate for our Edmonton-area facility. The role involves loading, unloading, moving parts, ensuring subassembly counts, inventory handling, and safety compliance. Onsite shift options include rotating day shift and weekend night shift, with some weekends.

You must be able to lift over 40 pounds, operate equipment safely, communicate effectively, and work independently as well as in a team, with emphasis on accuracy and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment.
• Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant (manually or with equipment).
• Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and items meet a visual quality inspection and report any discrepancies to the fabrication area.
• May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking and sorting materials.
• Put away received materials to proper storage locations.
• Confirm inventory transactions are complete.
• Participate in clean-up.
• Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
• Other duties as required.

Overview

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions.

This role is located at our facility in Edmonton and you must have a reliable transportation to commute.

This role is offered on the following shift options:

• Rotating Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including some weekends.
• Weekend Night Shift: Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

• Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.

• Overtime as required.
