STONG’S MARKETS LIMITED in Vancouver area seeks a Produce Clerk to support the Produce Department. You will assist customers, stock shelves, and ensure fresh, well-displayed products while maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods. Stong’s Market operates several Vancouver-area locations and emphasizes community focus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with the appropriate produce item to assist with purchasing decisions.
• Ensure the store is clean, safe and ready for shoppers.
• Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products; stock, cull, and replenish produce and related products to shelves.
• Wrap and place merchandise in bags / carts.
• Maintain and build various Produce Department displays.
• Rotation, loading and unloading of Produce Department product.
• Backroom and inventory management.
• Assist with other departmental functions including rotating, stocking, cleaning and maintaining the store appearance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Produce Clerk to join the team! Theideal candidate should be able to lift boxes filled with fresh fruit orvegetables, stock, replenish, and have excellent customer service skills to helpour customers find the produce they need.

A Produce Clerk’s responsibilities include making surethat the produce is always fresh and in good condition. They inspect what thestore sells, checking to be sure it has no defects before preparing anarrangement of their choice on store shelves.Ultimately, you will beresponsible for the quality of produce displayed in our store and ensuring agreat shopping experience for our customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with the appropriate produce item to assist with purchasing decisions
