Job summary

Magnet Forensics is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to drive quality across features and services. You will own quality, design risk-based tests, and strengthen automation in API, UI, and integration layers.

You will contribute to CI/CD workflows, monitor pipeline health, and collaborate with engineers to ensure fast, reliable feedback. A hands-on role with opportunities to grow toward senior leadership in QA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Quality Engineering, Test Engineering, or related roles.
• Experience supporting quality for production systems.
• Experience on cross-functional product or delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Own quality for assigned features, services, or components.
• Design and execute risk-based test approaches aligned to product intent.
• Identify gaps in coverage and propose improvements.
• Participate in story refinement, design discussions, and planning.
• Build and maintain automated tests across API, UI, and integration layers.
• Contribute to test frameworks and tooling.
• Write clear production-quality test code.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Monitor pipeline health and test failures; reduce flakiness.
• Collaborate with engineers to keep pipelines fast and trustworthy.
• Learn and apply evolving testing approaches, including agent-assisted workflows.
