Job summary

Magnet Forensics is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the quality of deliverables across the software development lifecycle. You will create automated tests and improve testability for a leading digital forensic product, collaborating closely with the Engineering team to ensure a fully functional, well-tested product.

The Engineering team focuses on handling data that is often hidden or incomplete, writing well-tested code and building intuitive UIs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with software test automation and QA.
• Experience with QA automation tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python 3 and PyTest.
• Experience in API testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write unit tests and work with Docker/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and manage test cases and test plans.
• Design and manage automated testing suites.
• Collaborate with development to improve testing.
• Write, track, and verify software defects.
• Debug complex software systems.
• Work with DevOps to test CI/CD pipelines.
