Job summary

TD is seeking an experienced QE/SDET leader to own end-to-end quality for large, complex systems. You will drive automation across API, UI, data, and integrations, defining the E2E strategy, quality gates, and environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Quality Engineering / SDET experience with strong automation delivery.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
• Strong competence in testing, CI/CD, and automation best practices.
• Experience with AI tools to automate test case creation and automation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for large, complex systems.
• Lead automation-first validation across API, UI, data, and integration layers.
• Define and own the E2E QE strategy for the Malcodes pod: scope, test architecture, quality gates, environments.
• Drive E2E automation across critical user applications and integrations with scalable coverage.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-team delivery with pods, platform teams, vendors, and dependencies.
• Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Architects, and Operations to translate priorities into risk-based E2E plans.
• Establish governance and dashboards for coverage, pass rates, flakiness, and release readiness.
• Lead defect triage and root-cause analysis using logs, traces, and telemetry; drive remediation via automated checks.
• Own E2E test execution planning for major releases and coordinate dry runs.
• Improve QE processes at scale with standardized frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Mentor QE engineers and drive quality discussions in ceremonies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Define and evolve test architecture to support scalable automation.
• Banking domain experience is highly preferred.
• Experience implementing AI tools in QE is highly preferred.
