Job description

Scrum Master/Business Analyst (Insurance)

Our client in the professional services industry is seeking a contract Scrum Master/Business Analyst with experience leading Agile teams for custom development projects with their insurance client, following Scrum methodology.

Duration: 6 months to start

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate team organization and ceremonies (sprint planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, sprint/iteration reviews/demos, and retrospectives)
  • Assist with requirements analysis and ongoing operations support
  • Model and promote the desired Agile mindset and behaviors to ensure successful Agile practices within teams
  • Lead effective team meetings, resolve conflicts, and drive efforts toward resolution and closure
  • Manage medium-to-high complexity Agile initiatives from initiation through release, providing oversight
  • Facilitate the creation and adoption of working agreements, definition of ready/done, and use of appropriate tools and standards
  • Ensure proper tracking of tasks and epics, and transparency of KPIs related to sprint delivery
  • Collaborate with product management to develop roadmaps, mitigate risks, and manage dependencies

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master delivering digital products/software development
  • 5+ years working as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps for work management
  • Knowledge of Scrum and SAFe frameworks
  • Experience in the Insurance sector is a plus
  • Certifications: PMP, CSM, PSM I, or PSPO I
