Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. in Montreal, QC, invites an experienced Scrum Master to lead agile teams, applying Scrum and Kanban to optimize delivery and collaboration.

You will coach teams, mentor management on Agile practices, facilitate ceremonies, and foster transparency, continuous improvement, and cross-functional alignment across cybersecurity-focused projects.

Qualifications

• Two certifications from Scrum/Agile tools are required.
• Minimum five years as a Scrum Master with practical agile delivery.
• Experience implementing Scrum and Kanban in real projects.
• Strong communication and facilitation to coach teams and leaders.

Job description

Here’s a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you’ll have:

• Animate daily meetings by applying Scrum principles;
• Oversee and optimize the use of the Kanban system to ensure a seamless, smooth and efficient workflow;
• Organize and facilitate planning activities, reviews, retrospectives and continuous improvement workshops;
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement within teams;
• Use metrics and performance indicators to support teams and support required adjustments;
• Train and mentor team members and management on Agile practices;
• Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, adaptability and engagement;
• Ensure effective communication between teams and stakeholders;
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration based on goals and priorities.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Hold at least two (2) certifications from the following: Scrum Master, CSM, PSM, EBM, PSK, ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF or Agile Coach;
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Scrum Master;
• Demonstrate real-world experience in implementing and optimizing Scrum and Kanban methodologies;
• Experience in the field of cybersecurity (an asset);
• Proficiency in visual management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Trello, Miro or Mural;
• Know DevSecOps practices;
• Demonstrate excellent communication and facilitation skills;
• Develop a pedagogical approach that promotes coaching, mobilization and the creation of high-performance team dynamics.
